   Those segments are available--usually removing them and attempting to re-use them does not work well--best to buy new ones.( I'm not near my home now--but I think I got the last ones from Newark or Mouser). Ron Rich

friend who is willing to help me out on the project- a top-notch pinball guy and 
quite handy with a soldering gun- but he was wanting a little more direction of 
where to go before we started blindly interchanging parts here.
