Francois,
My 1468 has good volume. It's comparable to my Seeburg Jl, and 222. Has better overall sound quality than the 222 also.
You may be surprised how different it all sounds with the speakers in the cabinet. Put it ALL in (speakers, amp, back door) then listen and let us know.
