Interesting.  In this part of the world that ride is 
called the Matterhorn.  The one with the wave-shaped
track that the cars go up and down on as they go around
it on the ends of arms fixed at a pivot point in the
center, right?  And there's a cascade of marquee-type
animated lights "spilling" down the middle?  Very popular
teenage ride here at the Puyallup Fair (Western Washington
State Fair in Puyallup).
