The accepted method of flattening a warped 78 is to place
it between two sheets of plate glass, then warm it gently,
such as in an oven set at ~150-175 degrees, or outside in
the sun.  You have to keep an eye on it.  As soon as it
goes limp you need to start cooling it down or the weight
of the glass will eventually start to deform it radially.
