Well.
Bill.
I am gonna get shot for this, but.......

Put in a 30 amp fuse.....   put eye protection in place
Turn on....
Look and smell for smoke.....  :-(

GUARANTEED y'all   'll  find the problem..... fast.

Question is....
are ya prepared to gamble on destroying something in the process..... ????
on the other hand, maybe it is already "destroyed" or shorted.
