    Jason, the index elevator is the weak point on these mechanisms. They are die cast and are notorious about decomposing with age. They are unavailable unless you find someone willing to scrap theirs. The only two models with this type mechanism are the 1432 & 1434. It was a very unpopular juke. Wes

I am restoring/troubleshooting a  rockola 1432 and am trying to figure out how the index elevator assembly and the index elevator lift assembly work together to make a selection.  The lift Assembly works fine but I am a bit lost as to how it interacts with the elevator assembly.  The only thing that I can see is there might be a part missing .  The  manual calls it a counter index spring,  but this part only appears in the  supplementary parts list and not in the main parts list.  Can any one shed some light on this.
