I did think about playing with the microswitches again next time I dug into it.. I should have written apparently not a mechanical adjustment prob with microswitch .. but yes, electrically they do get wierd, had the first one go bad (to the rear of unit) and replaced it with a spare. I can't believe I didn't think of pulling the wire off it !!! will try it.
Are those microswitches available or one avail that will replace?, I'd like to change them all.
I am currently restoring a 58 Edsel wagon, so you see I am a gluton for punishment. !! but the car has priority right now.

sure sounds like one. Check them real good as they are a fairly common
problem area and even the slightest bit of resistance change can cause
wierd problems. Locate the one that is either open or closed to brake
your carousel and while the record is playing when it is warmed up,
disconnect it from the circuit and see what happens. You can
methodically follow the trail. Jim
