I have the advantage of having worked in television
for 20 years, much of that time as an editor.  The
software we used for that bit was a fairly new
NewTek product called, if I remember right, "Quick
Edit."  I could find out the real name :-) from the
friend whose editing suite we used.  It was a demo
copy.  :-)

I go for the geeky angle.  It's the technology and
industrial design aspect that drew me to juke boxes.
The music is just the icing on the cake!  :-)  Juke
box wall boxes were really the first consumer-facing
implementation of serial data communications.  USB
had its origins, in part, in wall boxes (and Teletypes).
