Uhhh, that's the DS I bought in Dublin, right?  Were you the one that wrote
a question mark in Sharpie on a couple of the orange-drops?  I'll grant you,
that amp (and the virtually identical AY) amp has a reputation for not being
all that friendly to work on... even Dr. Know-it-all says so.  But it did work,
after I got in and changed out a couple of cathode resistors that had drifted
wildly in value.  I may go back into it and do a better tune-up later.  I think
I need to pay attention to the tone circuitry, it has sort of boomy bass even
on the minimum setting...the "Shut 'em dow-w-w-w-n" refrain on the Rip Chords
"Hey Little Cobra" really gets the feedback going.  I like that jukebox a lot,
though.
