I have a Rockola 1452 Hideaway in poor condition that I'm stripping for parts. This Hidewaway is basically the mechanism of a 1448 in a plain cabinet. I figured that stripping this down would give me a little more insight into the inner working of the 1448.
My question is about how to remove the pinbank. So far, I have:
1. Removed the TT motor assembly and platform.
2. Removed the Contact Block holding the Cancel Relays
3. Took the back door off and loosened the two allen screws retaining the shaft at the back record wheel.
The shaft won't move, have I missed something or I wonder if the shaft is frozen and needs some love taps from a hammer?
Thanks for any replies in advance,
