The Lyric is the model name for the range of jukeboxes produced for the
European market by Deutsche Wurlitzer. They use the same 100 select
mechanism as the 2410 but with modifications. There are two models Lyric
E which uses a letter selection directly and a number selection that
uses a motor mounted in the keyboard to rotate the selection solenoid
tray by means of a flexible wire coupling and a Lyric M that uses a
mechanical system to select.. They were first seen in about 1960. and
they progressed throughout the 60s becoming less and less visible. They
use similar amplification but use valves (tubes to you) sourced in
Europe and things like metric screws etc. All built in Germany as far as
I know.
This link shows them all. I have a 1963 Lyric E that I found in a barn
and bought for £50.
