Well, in that case, to each his own, and we can all make our
own fixating devices. Currently, I'm using a length of
stainless steel wire. If anybody would like to buy a length
of that wire from me, please let me know. :-) However,
if you're going to produce an item that you really wish to
sell to others, it ought to bear at least a little resemblance
to the original solution, IMNSHO, and snapping in place
would be one of the really important resemblances to
emulate.
