Doesn't make much sense to me.  The piece of wire I use is
functional, but it's cumbersom to use.  I twist it around the
barrel of the door lock, then around the post on top of the
horn.  A real strap would be a godsend.  There's also another
post under the horn, so you can hold the door open with
the horn tilted up as well.  The piece of wire doesn't work 
on that one because of the angle it connects at.
