Re Ron's question on the Rowe Ami R84 onwards turntable shaft issue. 

There is no bearing at the bottom of the shaft. A collar is incorporated
into the casting at the top of the shaft.

With regards to the alignment problem, it could be that the 2/3 grommet and
rivet posts are holding the gripper bow above the turntable. The front one
will be the one you will need to adjust.
