Hi Ed,
I wondered what all those security checks were for - now I know it was just 
your men keeping tabs on me!!
Yes, I admit it, I went to Chicago in search of some nice machines. Very few 
to be had. I bought a nice Continental and an "I" and an "H". The "H" is 
almost a parts machine, the "I" will restore with a lot of work. No sign of 
any RO1493's or W1800's or W2000's - except in the Dutch guy's container!! 
Let me know if you come across any of these, in particular I have 2 
customers waiting for me to find W2000's to restore for them.

What's this textured stuff in the can called? May not be available here but 
knowing the name would be a starting point.

Sorry I didn't come and see you - I spent my spare day making shipping 
crates in the back of a rental truck in the home depot parking lot!!
Glad your still busy, say Hi to Peggy. Don't eat too much at Mike 
Anderson's!

I occasionally restore Bingo pinballs that have the same texture. I  use a
product in a spray can that is used to texture dry wall repairs.  Just spray 
it
on and paint over it with an oil base paint. You can control  the amount of
texture with different size tips that come with the product.
btw did you lose your Louisiana map? I heard through my sources that you
sneaked into the states without coming to see us. We are going to eat at 
Mike
Anderson's in a couple of weeks. Too bad....
