Yes it has the stepper unit.  This box has had issues with moisture; the 
whole bottom right was rotted, and when I removed the transformer bell, 
there was a lot of corrosion.  Moisture/water probably caused it to fail. 
So at least we know why this Q was taken out of service ;-)

But the fuse is a good idea, I will do that!  I have a nice Heathkit 
electronic variac with current limiting and meters, so I can check things as 
I bring up the power.

Many thanks to Ron and the others.  I hope to find a used TSU, as I am 
nearing budget on this box.  The chromeplating alone set me back $650.

Others take heed - unless you actually see and hear a box playing, assume it 
doesn't.  And if it doesn't work, assume the worst.  For what I initially 
paid for the box, I am still pleased, however.  I knew it was a grade-4 
machine.  My AY160 needed company and I couldn't turn it down!
