[Jukebox-list] Seeburg tone arm assembly

My advice is to wait for your jukebox savvy friend to come over. It can be a
5 min job if you have removed a cradle before. There are some "tricks" that
can only be learned by doing the work and not being worried about messing
something up. Fear leads to the dark side.

Remember with the tone arm installed in the mech you can only see about 75%
of the wiring. So you could still have a problem there. Plus there is the
connections at the cart end to think about. When I updated the tone arm on
my LS1 I found one of the wires on the old connector (at the cart end)
barely touching - that caused a very intermittent crackle that I thought was
in my amp.

does not have the first one), and re-connected to the new assembly. Ron Rich

done by: removing an E ring, removing a cam follower, desoldering one wire,
unplugging four wires, and loosening four screws. Sounds straighforward
enough, but what is this "cam follower"? What does it look like? What does
it do?
