I have never met Charlie in person, but have spoken with him on the phone a few times, and he serviced a 1960's amp for me via a trade deal with some parts. Very nice, friendly, knowledgeable, and always was willing to help someone with technical advice on the phone. I knew he was in poor health lately, but I am deeply saddened by this recent news. My thoughts and prayers go out to him and family...
