Oh well.I think a lot of us can handle the electromechanical selection
Rockolas including you but not much information is out there on how the computerized
ones work.I think Rockola Charlie is the only one willing to work on Rockola
computers.Tony Miller wrote books on Seeburg black and gray boxes and mcu
systems and I have read replys to AMI computer issues but Rockola computers are a
mystery when it is proven the problem is in the computer itselflike mine
was.Rockola Charlie gave me advice to check certain things in my computer but when
it became obvious it had a serious problem that he couldn't talk me through I
sent it to him and let him handle it.His charges were very reasonable. In fact
downright cheap considering what amp rebuilds and such go for.It took a while
because he had to go in the hospital at the time he had it but I was very
grateful for his services. As soon as he got out he emailed me that he was getting
right back on it and I had it within 2 days.

I know these jukes are low value due to the non visible mech, lack of style
that older jukes had and electronic selection system that will eventually be
useless due to some nunobtanium part and the older electromechanical jukes can be
kept going practically forever due to their simplicity. But for some of us
they were our first jukes and have sentimental value. For some they are the only
jukebox they own plus for younger people these were the jukes they played when
they were teenagers and not the older ones. That includes me on the jukes I
played when I was a teenager but I still love the older jukeboxes from the
40s,50s and 60s.There were a few 50s and 60s boxes still around in restaurants
when I was a little boy.
