[Jukebox-list] Tormat selection

Nick,
Are you allowing enough time for the tubes to warm up? If you have "tired" electronics (weak tubes--leaky caps, out of spec resistors), it may take a few minutes for the power supplies to come up to full power. Also check for a dity insulator on the "K" contacts of the pricing unit.

Hi all, I know I've only posted a few times but, I was
hoping you guys could give a little insite on a
problem.

I'm dealing with a Seeburg 101. When you first switch
the machine on and make a selection, it will do the
scan twice and stop. After it does it one time (scan
2 and stop) it will never do it again. It will work
fine as long as it's pluged in. After you unplug it,
it will do the same thing on the first time you make a
selection.

Sound to me like a cap is acting up. You know,
building up charge the first time a selection is made
and the working ok from then on out.

The selection receiver has been rebuilt. You guy got
any ideas? I'm puzzled.

Nick
