[Jukebox-list] V200 Trip "thump"

Adrian, make sure the input cable is not grounded to the mechanism. In
really stubborn cases, I have shielded the trip coil with a small piece of
steel mounted with the two upper coil stop screws. This will keep the coil's
field collapse from being induced to the cartridge. Wes

Subject: [Jukebox-list] V200 Trip "thump"

I know this has been discussed before, but even after carefully setting the
muting contacts gap I'm still getting a thump - happens with record cut off
switch and manual cancel button. Any other ideas?

This V has the (earlier?) TSR, the one without 2050 tubes - can't remember
the number at the moment, something like 2D45??

Thanks for any help!

Adrian.
