I use the P-132D stereo cartridge. It bolts right in, but it hangs down a 
bit lower so you will have to adjust the tonearm height to clear the gripper 
arm. Sounds good and you can play both mono and stereo records.

Hi All,
          I have a Rockola 1448 which has a unknown cartridge and needle 
that was fitted to it when I got it, I am thinking of replacing it with the 
P-51-1 a replacement cartridge for the original 51-1, has anyone used this 
replacement, and can give an opinion on its performance, also how long 
should the needle be used?, how many plays? etc, thanks for any input.
