Finally the tables have turned and I feel I have some advice for Ron Rich! Based on his comment here:

> I then took the amp home, removed the cover over the outputs, and saw a bullet lodged in one of the output transistors.
> I had a call on the same phono the next week--the paper $ acceptor was bad. We looked for the bullet hole, which was very difficult to find as the bullet had entered at an angle, where the lower door met the cabinet

I'd *highly* recommend avoiding performing any further service at that location. Who'd have thought being a jukebox repairman would mean the risk of getting caught in the crossfire?

Makes me think of a song I have the title strip for but have not yet heard called "Bubba Shot the Jukebox".

Maybe I'm a bit strange, but having a Wurlitzer with a bullet hole in it just has to be a good conversation starter. I hate to be so morbid, but it makes you wonder - did some poor sod get the worst of that bullet, or was someone specifically aiming for the juke after some smart aleck played "Achy Breaky Heart" for the fourteenth time????
