OK wise guy--how 'bout a phono, like, say a late Rowe, where they put the tone arm on the "wrong" side--and to top that off, the put the cartridge in "backwards"??????? (yea, I know, they did not use "flip" type needles---good thing or we would really be confuzed)

The diamond LP one is ALWAYS the one where the lever is pointing to the left, or towards the spindle, the sapphire (LP or 78) is the one being used when the lever is pointing right, or away from the spindle.
Translated to Wurlitzer: Lever pointing down, diamond, lever pointing up, sapphire.
