Hello all, have recently bought a Rock Ola 1484 Wall Jukebox which was desrcribed as restored and when I went to see it is certainly seemed to be working OK. However now that I have it home it has many problems. The main one is that the selector buttons do not 'lock out' once a selection is made on the write in side (even though the pin on the plate has moved). I wonder if this problem is temperature related? Or maybe there is a faulty coil or relay somewhere in the circuit? What I do know is that the current limiting lamp is lit for the duration of the buttons being locked in. The buttons do always 'lock out' and jump up eventually but this can take 30 seconds or more.(they will also do that if you switch it off at the mains and switch back on again. The machine does often stand in an unheated room for long periods, the motors are sluggish when cold for instance, but the other problem is not always resolved even when the machine does warm up although quite often they are. I also have a 425 which has suffered from slow motors but only when not lubricated frequently and I have never had the selector button problem with that one. Thank You
