Marc: I was reading your repairs that you had done to your Seeburg SCD-1 Jukebox, now I just purchased 2 of these units which are not working but I am trying to make 1 out of the 2 units. I am not sure if you can help me with a couple of problems but I did power up both of the units and one unit everything came up and I credited it up and the CD player selected the right CD but when the CD reached the turntable it would not spin the disc and it rejected it and put it back in the carriage, I actually have 2 of the CD players and both do the same thing. If you have any ideas on this problem could you help me in anyway, I have heard several of these machines play and wow they sound great so I am anxious to get 2 of these units to make 1 very nice unit. The cosmetics are real nice on these units and the cleaned up very nice, so I am in the midst of making 2 into 1 nice unit. Any info from you would be very helpful. By the way there is a guy in Chicago that actually repairs these CD players, he charges a flat fee of $250.00 per unit and goes over the complete CD player so that may be a option for me, also I found a place that has the CD adapter MP3 unit that attaches with the 44 pin cable that goes to the phone cnotrol unit and it tricks the machine into thinking the CD player is still attached and it holds 1700 songs on the player, pretty neat unit for the price of $325.00.
