Ron, you were right on with those resistors on the turret tube sockets.
Both 220k's were open and one 820k was open. The other 820k read about a
gazillion ohms { close to open} . I replaced all 4 and it works fine. I
put alot of time in this amp re-capping etc. and it was driving me nuts.
I had earlier kind of eyeballed and poked around those areas but could
not visibly see any burnt or broken components. They must be high
failure rate items through the years I assume.  Anyway, works fine and
thank you very much!    I will send you a can of wd-40 for that !  j/k !
