Hmm interesting Bob ,  3 out of my 4 resistors were hard electrical
opens,  usually I have found faulty resistors fairly easily, visibly
burnt, overheated , etc.  Or, even the open ones I have found were
physically "open" as in a fine crack or something that stands out. These
showed no signs of being open except on a meter. I guess the carbon just
seperates internally somehow. The one 820K that was not open like I said
was reading an astronomical amount of resistance. My digital meter tilt
lite was on , I was on the highest scale and the number I was reading
was real high. Had to be close to opening completely soon. These
resistors must be under alot of stress, load, current etc.  Jim
