Jens,

He was employed by the military,, I am sure, probably
the Army. He could work on anyting from the era but
Wurlitzer had trained him so that was what he really
enjoyed and was most proficient at. He was always
amazed that the old Wurlitzers wer so prized by so
many of us. To him they were just "stuff".

When he first worked on one of my mechanisms he
started taking pieces off and parts were everywhere in
his small shop. He was fast! It may not have went
together as fast but when he finished it operated
flawlessly and was highly polishd.

I guess that is the difference between a professional
and someone like me who just trys to do it correctly
but often must return to fix the errors and sometimes
do it twice.

I wrote the tone arm serial number down so when I get
it back from the platers I can add it back in. Thanks
to everyone for clearing the serial numbers up for me.
I have another completed 750 and all the usual parts
are metal. The new one has some wood parts, in place
of some of the metal. I guess war impacted the 750 as
well as the other models.

Thanks,
