Hi, Mr. Hill -
My Grandfather, who was the making of me more than any
other person on this earth, was also named William
Hill. (If your middle name is Cedric, which he loathed,
I'll be astonished). So, this isn't a flip answer.
Please buy a manual from a regular vendor. There are
several good sources for them, and some of them are
subscribers to this list. If the transfer arm is not
going all the way down in the scan cycle, that is related
to the was it follows the camshaft in the mechanism, but
if that adjustment is so far out, many others may be
as well, and you're right - many of them are inter-
dependant. Unless you can find somewhere that the
arm is binding, if the adjustments are this far out,
you will probably have to set the mechanism up from
scratch, and that is well documented in the Seeburg
manual. Those who reproduce the manuals make money from
the effort, but it's really a public service because
the last time I got a manual for free from Seeburg
was in 1976, and it was a crummy xerox copy, and
Seebirg is gone now. All M100-A folks here stand
by to offer you help, but without a manual you
really lack the rosetta stone for this procedure.
Best of luck! (BTW, do you know we're heirs to
a castle in loyalist Ireland? :-) )
