Yeah, that's what I get for having a flash of inspiration
without anything to check it against.  Of course it's
the lifting action that's spring loaded.  Otherwise the
transfer arm could try to run up through the rack and
cause all sorts of damage if it wasn't centered.  Big
"Duh!" for me..  :-)
