That's the 555-
  There is no problem with the latchbar solenoid on a Wurlitzer, if the resistor in series with it is good. I also like to up the wattage of that resistor from 5 to 10 watts--runs a little cooler. If you are using the "select light" you may also wish to increase the ohm value and wattage of that resistor, as by doing so, the lamp will last longer, and run cooler.
  The note I have says to jumper pins 2-6-7-8- together on the BOAC input/output plug of the control center--Ron Rich

At the moment I have bypassed the whole credit side by jumping a wire on 
the control box, however I wanted to be able to add credits manually via 
a doorbell push button so the selection solenoid wouldn't be permanently 
charged. I don't know if that's possible.
