Even if MP3 might sound almost as the original, it is not the original.
In my opinion it is bad to encode something as MP3 because there is enough 
diskspace to use lossless compression. And when you encode something with a 
lossy codec you loose some information which you can never get back. 
Especially when re-encoding into another (or the same) lossy format you are 
loosing more and more of the original information each time.

I want to preserve the original as good as possible ;)
