Jackie,
Sorry, but in my opinion, your read out switch is defective--very common with that, and later models. You might get by if you "adjust" (bend--very carefully) the arm on the switch that "strikes" the raised pin. To adjust it, I suggest that you look very carefully at the one that is working for the other side. Observe the distance that the arm travels prior to the "click", and attempt to "adjust" the non working one to the same "specs"--height is also a consideration. That switch was designed so that it SHOULD bypass a selected pin without catching, when the mech is "scanned" using the service switch. Once the the "striker" (the copper colored "arm") has been bent, it is very difficult to reform it correctly. If the switch itself is defective, you will find it impossible to make it work.
Hopefully, if you need to change the switch, someone will know where one is obtainable--I do not. Ron Rich

  Good Morning,
As I left 2 weeks ago to bond with my Grandaughter, I was playing one last tune on the Wurlitzer and a record got jammed going into the magazine. It stayed like this for about an hour before I realized what had happened. So I was able to free the record and threw it away and tripped the safety. Didn't have time to look at it before I left.

So, I got back this weekend I noticed the inside cancel plunger was bent and pushed up against a pin. I was able to free it up and got the plunger straightened out so it would retract as smoothly as the outer plunger. (I have looked at all the pics in the manual, I am sure there is a proper name for these things...just can't find them in this lousey manual....forgive me)
anyway, then I noticed the side 2 switch actuator was bent out so after searching for a good pic of what it should look like, I put it back into what I think is the correct position.

So, here's the deal, I can select a Side A and all is well, however Side B only works in the upper letters, G, J, K. and NOT all the time. I took off the front panel and can see the pins being selected, however the readout just cruises right on by the pins!

I must be missing something....would appreciate any help. Also, I am just loving this Jukebox and can't part with it. Got an offer for $900 including the Wallbox and just can't do it. It stays and something else has to go....but it isn't going to be any of my Jukeboxes.
Thanks in advance, good to be back and read what's been happening!
Jackie
