[Jukebox-list] Drive In Movie Speakers

David,
Those speakers sound awesome! I got mine open and as expected, the speakers
were trashed. I went to my local "friendly" Radio Shack, they could not
have been any more unpleasant. Started with selling me a cell phone, then
new computer monitor so when I drug out my 2- 4" trashed speakers the guy
was NOT happy. Turns out, they don't carry those anymore anyway. I told
him I needed other things but would buy them somewhere else, cranky!!

So, they are looking really good. They were blasted but I think I will
paint them anyway. I found some speakers on line so I ordered those and the
stand my friend is working on sounds great, but I haven't seen it yet. We
switched from a car tire to a motorcycle tire, I think the smaller size will
look better. Anyway, I will post some pics when it's all done.

I know what you mean about "it's a fun thing",
Jackie
