[Jukebox-list] Drive In Movie Speakers

Jackie,
I will be looking forward to seeing the finished
speakers. I worked at two Drive-In Theaters all
through high school and before. They were a special
place and even in Phoenix, AZ we kids could steam up
the car windows! I see the speaker set-ups at car
shows sometimes and people play the car radio through
them.
Radio Shack is a mere shell of what it used to be. It
is sad to let go of some things. Another company that
was great was Heathkit. I still look for their stuff,
especially un-built kits. I used to buy parts from a
company called WICO for my jukebox collection. I
still have some catalogs and tools from them. I bet
the jukebox suppliers hated them because of all the
parts and conversions they sold.
