As someone who's dealt with psoriasis since my 20s, I've had
every wavelength of UV light known to man thrown at me over the
years.  UV-A, UV-B, narrowband UV-B, photo-chemotherapy, etc.,
etc..  The doctors and nurses take it very seriously.  You wear
deep-yellow goggles and some times even a bag over your head in
addition.  UV light can permanently blind you.  "Black light"
tubes are nothing in comparison to some of the types used
therapeutically.
