[Jukebox-list] Adding a tweeter to Tempo 1 (mono)

Happy new year everyone !

I just finished my Tempo 1 (1468 mono version) and I am not very impressed
by the sound quality. Now, I had bought this juke mainly for its great 50's
look, not really for the sound. I knew it would never be in the range of
the AMI I, H and HF100R but I still would like to know if it would improve
the sound to add a tweeter.

First, here are a few details on what has been done. Amp rebuilt, new
tubes, original speakers reconed, new tonearm wiring and installed a
Pickering NP/AC magnetic cart to replace the GE VRII that was missing. The
2 16 ohms speakers are connected in parralel to give an 8 ohm load to the
amp.

I know I will have to find a place to fit the tweeter in the juke, but how
would I go about to add this tweeter ?

What size and what ohm value should I buy for the tweeter ? What value of
capacitor should I use ?

How do I connect this with the other speakers ?

Your help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Bye :-)
Francois
