I have a 35 year old can of it around here that I have used to remove tape residue from jukebox glass--works great for that purpose,  as far as I'm concerned.  Ron Rich

But when its dry there is insufficient lubricant left to be of any use and

Use it to loosen parts and for cleaning but it must be followed up with 
other procedures it is not a one step fix all spray.
As stated is useful tool be in the right circumstances.
