You'll find that getting a chrome look with paint is very difficult. They
rattle cans simply don't do what they say. Even the higher end stuff that
you have to use good equipment to spray doesn't give a real chrome look. If

you will see my attempt to make a gas cap chrome using House of Kolor Kosmic
Khrome. It's better than any spray can but it's labor intensive and still
not that great. There are some good chrome alternatives like Alsa's Chrome
FX and Gold Touch's Cosmic Chrome but that still requires sending out the
parts or buying expensive equipment and chemicals.

the one made by Rustoleum , (bright something ), was good .Any comments ?
