Oh, I also think that the AMI Topflight was an early machine to use chrome,
and lots of it (1937-38).
There are some models that fall between the early (78) and later (45) style.
Wurlitzer 1250 was nickel. On the 1400/1500 series, they used chrome, but
the top valance was still nickel. After that, only chrome.
