Hi,
I am soooo excited, I found the name and # of a Jukebox Repair Tech and
spoke to him about the 2410 Wurly. He is coming to look it over on Monday
and for a quite reasonable price. EVERYONE, keep your fingers crossed that
it's needs are fairly simple. I thought I had exhausted every local tech
in a 500 mile radius, lol
I a little out on the limb, as I don't know anything about him, however I
talked to him for about 30 min. and he seemed to know the basic stuff and I
am sure he will do fine....at least this time "I" am more knowledgeable.

OK, so we have to find out which furniture can go: in the kitchen anything?
In the living room? Hallway? Guests room? Office?
Or the idea of the addition in the garden is a good solution as long as your
kids stay home.

Hilegard,
wow, what a cool dad!! My kids range from 35 (I was, of course, a "child
bride", lol) to 16 years old. Only have 2 1/2 living here now, my son comes
in and out from college a few times a week to eat and get a full nights
sleep! I don't think putting any of my Jukeboxes in their bedrooms would
work, we have 3 bedrooms so we are a little stuffed as it is! Mostly, I am
trying not to stress over this, and keep my sense of humor. the terrible
things is, I still want a 78rpm Jukebox!

Jackie, what about an air mattress?
My brother in law did built a new bed for his daughter. She has a very small
bedroom and wanted to sit with her girl friends on a sofa plus needed some
space to play and for the desk.
So he did build the bed underneath the ceiling: mouted to the wall with two
long legs plus a big chain going to the ceiling. Now the sofa is underneath
the bed.
What about this? :-)
At what age are your kids? Does each one has/need a bedroom for his own?

Ha, JC,
you are soooo cute! Actually, it's not my family, I am just trying to be
practical, which I normally am, however being a Juke-a-holic has changed all
that. Sounds like your house is like my house..........stuff in every room
and Jukeboxes to boot! You also need to add into mine a Grand Piano and
another full-size Digital Piano downstairs for recording.........like I
said......there is crap everywhere!
Funny you should mention the Magnavox Stereo, I almost picked one up at
Goodwill last month, lol........my Mom and Dad had one for years, it's all
we had to listen to music and I have such great memories of Classical Music
in our house. Darn good thing I let it pass!! lol
Sorry for the lack of response, I did get your email about Butterfields
auction and I meant to reply to you but got busy with my Daughter in VA, she
is expecting her first baby, our 6th Grandchild, in 3 weeks so I did the
Shower thing and have been running back & forth to help her get set up, etc.
I am sorry I missed the item, it would have been great to go along with the
Jukes!! Very nice of you to think of me and I appreciate it.
I like the look of the 2410, I just haven't heard it work yet so it is a
tough decision and I am trying to think of what furniture I can trash!!LOL
