It will be a counterfeit check.  Your bank will yank the funds back after a
couple weeks, but you will (if the scammer's done his work properly) already
have wired the refund to him...of course, he won't take a check!  Best thing
to do is frame it as part of a collection, or send it as a refund to the
next scammer.
