[Jukebox-list] Power & Control Wiring

I'm still working on a Seeburg B. A small irritation - I can't get the
service switch to scan. It works fine in my Seeburg C and the power control
relay in the B works fine when I use the pin bank. What am I missing?

Hello,
this question is regarding hooking up the wallbox for the Wurly 2410 to the
stepper. The terminal strip is numbered 1 2 and 3. It does not say what
each terminal is for. I know one of the 3 must be a ground and a positive
and a negative? There is Schematic Wiring Diagram but none of the symbols
look like the ground (earth) symbol. I can see that #3 terminal goes to a
3amp - #2 goes to a round solid circle and the #1 terminal goes to a round
solid circle and continues on to .01 MFD
I know there are some of you that must be scratching your heads and grinning
at the same time. I know it's sad but believe me when I say, I have poured
over this piece of paper and don't want to hook it up wrong. I appreciate
any and all help!
Jackie

Hi,
I noticed on the 2410 stepper:
The far left terminal is orange
The middle terminal is red
the far left is black
on the old stepper the hook up was #1 #3 and Ground
the wiring for that stepper (1970) is
#1 orange
#3 Black
Ground was red
Would this get hooked up the same? as far as colored wiring? Sorry for the
poor discriptions, many thanks
Jackie

Hey Wes,
My question was HOW did you do that repair. Did you have someone make a
replacement gear....?

Check the bottle, J.
I think Zoom Spout has paraffin in it, a jukebox no-no we've discussed a
hundred times.
The paraffin eventually gums up.
However, in a heavy use application, not something delicate or with a felt
wick, it should be OK.

The bottle says:
SEW-RITE
Precision Machine
OIL
Kleer-Est
The World's Finest*Purest*Cleanest
*Most Stainless Sewing Machine Oil
...and some other stuff about how great it is. The Zoom-Spout logo is at the
bottom.
Anyway, this is what my clutch worm got instead of grease.

Don,at the time we had over 800 jukes in our warehouse. It was a simple
matter to remove a good one from a junk box. My fifty years of experience
helped. Wes

Hello all,
I am moving within the next month and need to use professional movers to
help us. I feel like I read that there are some who specialize or at least
have proper experience in moving jukeboxes. Can anyone make
recommendations on movers in eastern Pennsylvania? Or discuss experiences
with traditional movers and jukeboxes? I know the ropes on how to safely
move my boxes, and wonder if I couldn't just articulate to "regular" movers
how not to damage my equipment. Aside from three jukeboxes, I have quite a
lot of stuff in my home that needs to be moved as well, so it would be great
to hire the same crew for everything.
Thoughts?
-Ian
