Hi Ron,
Well, if the thermostat interrupter is working correctly then there
are not a lot of suspects left. Looking in the 3300 manual - pages 3E
<-> 16E - and noting what circuits use (40) {24VAC} you will see that
most of them pass through either a circuit breaker or a thermostat
(as well as the 8A fuse). Try testing those for correct function.
Short the circuit breaker output to common and it should pop when the
machine is turned on, I've seen these fail shorted, in which case the
8A fuse will blow and the circuit breaker will simply sit there
looking innocent.
Same process for the thermostat (32)THERMOSTAT(69)->function.
Intermittants are a real pain, but with a systematic approach you
will find the bug.
