[Jukebox-list] Seeburg SMC1 won't return record or reject

Hello all,

During a recent family gathering, my Seeburg SMC1 had been working fine 
until I noticed it failed to return a record and move on to the next.   It 
was still registering new credits, however, but would not reject the record. 
   I managed to replace the tone arm on the record that had been playing and 
found that the motor had properly reversed.   Being able to figure out 
anything worthwhile to do, I turned it off and have come back to it today.

Having turned the unit back on, no display appears on the MCU.  
Interestingly, the motor is now running in its normal direction, as I am 
able to successfully play the record that is loading in the mech.  
Unfortunately, there is still no response to the reject switch.

My biggest concern is that I am moving in a few weeks, so I need to be able 
to unload the records from the unit to safely move the box, regardless of 
whether this is a simple issue or a major one.  There is something I can do 
to manually return the record, correct?   What doesn't help is that I have 
all manuals for this unit EXCEPT the most useful service manual.   It just 
so happens that every time I feel that I must grab it or the recommended 
books written about this period of Seeburg, I literally don't have the extra 
cash to spare.   I'll remedy that soon of course, but for now, I am without.

Is anyone able to offer some description of what, if anything, I can do to 
manually reject the record?   Please keep in mind that I only have I/O 
manual, parts catalog and MCU service manual, so the simplest way you can 
describe the parts I'm looking at, the better off I'll be.
