Hi,

I am a bit confused are you saying that the R82 has a R3760A amplifier
fitted.

The original amplifier would have been the 64 watt R-2179A, the R-3760 was
fitted in one of the earlier MM series of jukeboxes.

The jukebox was wired for an amplifier that had an in phase output.

If you can not locate the R-2179A, then fit an amplifier from the R-83 to
R-85 era a 6-07438-02 125 watt. On this amplifier the mute plug and the
speaker output are compatible only the volume and phono input have to be
changed.

The problem with this amplifier is that the output is out of phase on one
channel.

Bruce should be able to supply one of these and should be able to give help
on the speaker wiring.

If you require drawings or the correct amplifier contact me off of line.

Hi Folks, I have not yet found a replacment amp for my AMI ROWE R82 juke

yet, I was thinking of trying to install a little newer amp in it's place. I

have a good working spare for a R87. I know the plugs are completley

different..but do the later amps have different circitry in them in reguards

to input, and mute functions.. I did contact Bruce wentworth, but he dosn't

rebuild the older AMI-Rowe amps past R83.

OR if one of you have an amp that would be willing to part with that will

fit the R82, That would be great too.

The amp in question is a R3760A.

Thanks-Dennis (Jukeboxdenny)
