Ron,

Compact disc vs. vinyl is always a arguable topic among audiophiles and 
audiophile wanna-bee's.

In my humble opinion and being an audiophile, I prefer compact disc 
overall.. Especially when the direct digital output signal of a cd transport 
is run through an external  D to A converter and upsampled to 192kbps then 
run though a tube stage.
