That's a picture of my AMI G-200, which has been continuously
powered up (except to roll it outside for parties) for about
15 years. Since I keep it in my unheated workshop, I keep
it powered up to keep it warm and dry in the Puget Sound
climate, especially in winter. No trouble yet. I close
exhamination of that machine shows that it's not cosmetically
restored, just kept mechanically sound. It gets a workout
every Christmas and 4th of July (link below) when i have
parties in the yard.
