Hi Jim,
I love to hear how these Jukeboxes are used! I was thinking of moving my
Seeburg C in January for my Dad's 80th Birthday and filling it with some
swing. I also used mine for a Sock-Hop this weekend, but in my home. There
were 60 guests and I got more questions all night long. Several people
"want one" so I am to be looking, lol I had the Rockola hooked up to the
Drive-In Speakers outside and for the first few hours that one was used the
most, I'd say it had mostly 70's and 80's tunes in it, but as the evening
progressed, the Seeburg C with all the 50's was played more and we had lots
of Dance Contest with it. The Wurlitzer 2410 was upstairs and all the
"younger" croud hung out with it. All in all, it was a fantastic gathering
and the Jukeboxes all performed perfectly for hours, YEAH!! Mechanical
Musical History at it's finest,
Jackie

Subject: [Jukebox-list] AMI I200

Hi everyone - I took my AMI I200 to a company picnic this past Saturday and
it was a blast, although YMCA got played a little too much for my liking.
The juke played non-stop for four hours and didn't miss a beat. I got lots
of positive feedback and just a few silly questions like "is that thing
playing CD's"? One person wanted to know if I had updated the sound system
because it sounded too good for 1958. I chuckled to myself over the person
having problems selecting H13 - he pressed the H and then tried to press the
1 and 3 buttons at the same time. But I did get one observant person ask why
the record basket slows if you make a selection while it is scanning. I've
seen it come to a complete stop sometimes until it finishes selecting. I
assume the power supply is undersized (I rebuilt it), but then thought I
might ask the list to see if this is so. Anyone else notice this with their
machine? Thanks,

Jim
